His name is Marcelo, he was born in Buenos Aires 55 years ago, and he came to live in Barcelona in 2001 thanks to his dual Dutch nationality. He had a fleeting step as a forward through the lower categories of Chacarita Jrs, but soon he moved to rock as a Heavy Metal guitarist and being a hardware store salesman, he wandered until he was 36 years old.

Already living in Catalonia (Spain), he began his studies to become a soccer coach and he specialized in scouting and video analysis of matches. He currently works as an analyst for various teams, reporting on rivals, performance, training videos, etc.
He is a football lover and Boca Junior fan, he met Hattrick through an Argentine friend in Barcelona back in 2008 and got hooked right away. In those years he was also a regular at the Pro Evolution Soccer Konami tournaments; hence his nickname: pro-xeneise.
Already located in this fantastic green world, it was not until 2016 when he became interested in the selections world; and to associate his real work with HT fiction, he entered the U20 Argentina as a scout.

He is a math lover and loves endless excels to analyze teams, control players, and plan workouts; It is perhaps in what HT is most like real football. Now as Chief of the U20 Scouts in Argentina and collaborating as a scout in the Philippines, he is confined like most, waiting for football to return ... and the bars; and to be able to do what he likes the most, go to the football fields, record the rivals, give the talk in the locker room to our team and that we do our best in the game; And if we win better, to celebrate in the bars !!! , matches, championships, promotions; any excuse is good !!!

His real name is Marcelo. He edits rough videos. He's a fan of spreadsheets. He lives in Barcelona since 2001 thanks to the double nationality argentinian-dutch. He has been a self-starter at heavy methal's rythm. Being a football player in youth divisions, finally he obtained the manager license till specialize as sports analyser.

I don't want to discover nothing more about this accomplished Pro player that has more to count that our lovely Pablito talking about Spam.

We begin!

1. Welcome to the tavern, Marcelo. It may look as a dark place for new ones until they are illuminated by SPAM. What's up in Barcelona? Do you live in the capital? How do you occur start a conversation with those anti-system and finish in a modern dive talking about football, with a gintonic in your hands?

I was heavy metal guitarist, dark places were my natural habitat lots of times... some times, between bars.. Barcelona caught my attention since the first minute; when my bank give me a loan in 2006, I took my car and the money and went as far as my fuel arrived, finishing in Lloret de mar, in the Costa Brava. Talking about football with anti-systems is more productive than talking about politics, for sure, although at the 5th gintonic the topic doesn't mind...

2. Buenos Aires is your native city, cradle of tango and mate. What learn a Buenos Aires cityzen to valorate before? The first thing or the second one?

In my case the mate, no doubts about it. It's mandatory drink at least 2 thermos daily...for my own, with any company.

3. What was the reason to you to convert in the guitarist in that group? Is true that you held the concert in the hardware store that you were frequent there at the time you sold articles and the band merchandising?

jajajaja I became the guitarist for several reasons, the most important was to conquer women, it made it easier. And yes,we've done some hardware owner concert, metal with metal get on well (little horns).

4. You obtained your football manager license in Barcelona. What can you tell about the disagreement you provoked between Laporta and Rossell?

How near have you been with Messi? Is it true that you approached to him saying you were argentinian too?[/b]

Laporta and Rosell stuff was predictable, none of both want to pay the account; I'd gone out of the restaurant with the old excuse "I go to the toilet"... like it or lump it!

Talking about Messi makes me serious. The nearer? In the grandstand when he made his debut in 2005's Gamper. Impressionant! I didn't forget neither Juventus defenders.

5. If after the confinement you have to choose between watching a football match or going to pubs, what would you choose?

jajjaj I already went to pubs, sorry; football then...I have to work!!!

6. Let's talk about Hattrick. National teams world is exciting. Tell us the experience with Argentina and Philippines u20.

I'm crazy about Hattrick since the first day, in 2008, but I became interested in national teams in 2015 when I worked as a scouting in the Llagostera's "Juvenil A" in Catalonia's preferent; I said: why about doing scouting too in HT? Argentina opened their arms, and with time, effort and persistence, I arrived to scout's manager. With Philippines I met some spanish that had won the elections, I asked about becoming scout of his staff, a very long term project from my DT's reward.

7. Soon the election for U20 coach's arrive. Will there be continuity in Argentina? And Spain? Who will you vote?

In Argentina's elections, as a part of them, we are at the margin, nothing about politics, we work hard with the chosen DT. In Spain, where I can vote, I read all the elections forums of each candidate and I try to make a responsible vote; I look at the staff, look for known and compromised names, my vote will go almost for sure to "jugon_ " , as I think the candidature is well worked on. There are several names in his staff that I know and make me feel good vibes (GM-Javivimarc, Flavio_86, An7h0nY123 ,Giovanella and others that work with DT I vote before (Percival__  y LordSpy.

8. By the way, I've heard you are a Pro professional player. Is it true that thanks to you Messi, there, have won more World cup's than a lamed brazilian?

Ufff...I played Konami's tournaments of PES6 in PS2 (2005 to 2007), at that time, was impossible to compete; Adriano's Inter, Henry's Arsenal, Shevchenko's Milan; but NEVER EVER I played with Brazil; that was so far the best team... a nuisance to pass rounds against probrazilian rivals...

9. It's said that you are more argentinian that a roast in Buenos Aires. Do you think about coming back to Argentina? Do you visit the country frequently?

...I've never came back since I went in 2001; and in 2011 some misdemeanors prescribed (some traffic fine and little more, don't be evil-minded); but sometimes I dream about coming back and see again my friends, make some concert...

10. What has Hattrick bring to your life to make sense the green logotype tattoo somewhere in your body we cannot say?

True, the tattoo let me hide my ex-wife's name; this way I met my nowadays girlfriend with no tracks...now seriously; Hattrick is a passion which I invert lot of time, it's a way to join work and leisure time, doing similar things, opponents analysis, plotting trainings, performance's Excel and player's monitoring, in short, football full time!! It was ProEvolutionSoccer before and now is Hattrick. Thanks for the interview!

Until here wev'e arrived.

We trust the inverview has been interesting. Thank you, Marcelona. Come back again when you want =)
